Windows to the Universe

As UCAR-NCAR’s former Chief Translator, LaGrave managed a wide range of projects for the Education and Outreach Division at the National Center for Atmospheric Research. She is responsible for translating over 27 thousand pages (in three levels) of the Windows to the Universe educational website, serving up to ~20 million people.

NCAR/NASA GLOBE Program

LaGrave fully translated into Spanish NASA-funded Elementary GLOBE program, A Teacher’s Guide and five-book series. LaGrave has also been responsible for translating over 100 NASA educational resources (Lesson Plans, books and voice over videos.)

Cochlear Corporation

LaGrave was responsible for translating Cochlear’s marketing material into Spanish and Communication’s corner. LaGrave was responsible for translating Diagnosis and Treatment materials, Products and Accessories as well as On-going Care and Support.

Starnet

LaGrave served as Translator, Cross-Cultural communications and Media Senior Consultant for Descubre la Salud project in collaboration with AHEC, and the STAR Library Network team.

LaGrave developed the bi-lingual component of this informal education program funded by the National Institutes of Health/Science Education Partnership Award.

LaGrave was also responsible of the Professional Development (Latinx Families Culture, Values, Traditions, Customs & Challenges) while providing timely Strategies to libraries staff across the Front Range.

This traveling exhibition addresses the nation’s most serious public health issues, especially among underserved and rural populations (diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular health).

LaGrave was also responsible in producing 6 health segments in collaboration with Telemundo.
